How to install?

PREREQUISITES

Backup your data:
Before flashing the firmware, back up all important data to avoid permanent loss.

Charge your device:
Ensure your Samsung Galaxy M30 is at least 70% charged to prevent interruptions during the process.

Download necessary files:

  1. Install the official Samsung USB drivers on your computer.
  2. Download the latest Odin flashing tool.

STEPS

Enable USB Debugging:

  1. Navigate to Settings > About phone.
  2. Tap Build number seven times to activate Developer Options.
  3. Go back to Settings, open Developer Options, and enable USB Debugging.

Download and Install Odin:

  1. Extract the Odin ZIP file to a folder on your computer.
  2. Right-click on Odin.exe and choose Run as administrator.

Boot into Download Mode:

  1. Power off your Galaxy M30.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons together.
  3. When the warning screen appears, press Volume Up to enter Download Mode.

Connect Your Device:

  1. Click the AP button in Odin and select the downloaded firmware file (.tar.md5).

  1. Click the Start button in Odin to initiate the flashing process.
  2. Wait patiently as the installation may take several minutes.

Complete the Installation:

  1. Once Odin displays a PASS message, your Galaxy M30 will reboot automatically.
  2. Disconnect the device and follow the on-screen setup instructions.
  3. Restore your data and sign in with your Google account if necessary.
